Grandeur IT Solution · Deployment guide
Connect your router to the captive portal
Step-by-step setup for TP-Link Omada, MikroTik and UniFi so guests see the Grandeur portal the moment they join your WiFi. Replace YOUR_VENUE_ID with the venue ID from your dashboard.
- 1
Open the Omada Controller
Sign in to your Omada Controller (software, OC200/OC300 or cloud) and select the site for the venue.
- 2
Create the guest SSID
Go to Settings → Wireless Networks, add a network such as "Grandeur Free WiFi", set security to None and enable Guest Network.
- 3
Add an External Portal
Go to Settings → Authentication → Portal, create a portal, choose the guest SSID and set Authentication Type to External Portal Server.
- 4
Set the portal URL
Paste the Grandeur portal URL below into the Custom Portal Server field, and set HTTPS redirection to on.
- 5
Allow pre-login access
Under Access Control → Pre-Authentication Access, add every walled-garden domain below so the portal loads before guests sign in.
- 6
Test the connection
Join the SSID from a phone. The Grandeur portal should open automatically, and internet unlocks after the ad and sign-in.

Check the walled garden includes every domain and that HTTPS redirect is enabled.
Portal loads but no internet after login
Confirm the router is in external portal mode and the venue ID in the URL is correct.
Slow or blank portal
Allow the font and media domains, and check the router has working DNS.
